November 2018- March 2020 – Karina was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Rep company. Appearing in ‘As You Like It’, directed by Kimberley Sykes and ‘Measure for Measure’ directed by Greg Doran.
Karina performed in Stratford-upon-Avon, The Barbican, London and toured Spain and the UK with these productions.
I completed filming for Channel 4’s drama CHIMERICA in 2018 alongside Alessandro Nivola and Sophie Okenedo.
I have also been developing my own project with the working title of BLIND DRUNK IN LLANDUDNO. This semi-biographical piece combines theatre and circus to tell a unique story and aims to turn the perception of disabled people quite literally on its head. This project has undergone two week of research and development in 2018 supported by NATIONAL THEATRE WALES and SHEFFIELD THEATRES. Further development to place later this year.
I performed the national tour of WAIT UNTIL DARK at the end of 2017 with Orignal Theatre. Karina was the first ever visually impaired actress to play the leading role of Susy. For full details please see the official Wait Until Dark Website
